Linzi and her oh so irritating voice!

I think the title says it all, I have a few questions about this annoying (but I assume meant to be 'cute' character).

1. Can I mute just her voice?

2.Is there a way to display all dialogue, even when she says (or at least I think she does) 'Applause please' I cannot understand most of what she says, her and her voice is so bloody irritating, it's driving me nuts!

I'm sure the lady that did this voice is a lovely person, but if I had to live with that voice I would move out. and live in a cave.

Playing on GOG, not that makes any difference.

Actually owlcat ran a poll on the kickstarter back in the day for backers to choose from 3 different Linzi voices. This was the one chosen, apparently.

Haha that's so true. The drastic breathes are a bit much sometimes I noticed. She is a nymph though.

Apparently Nymph = Nympho.

Another huge vote against the annoying Linzi; the voice is pretty bad, but her script is dreadful. Plus even the idea of a "cute" little (annoying) Bard is unoriginal; already done with Deekin. Why couldn't Jubilost have been the chronicler?

Couldn't get past the tutorial and immediately quit the game. Her voice is so disgustingly annoying. Sounds like an anime dub or a vtuber trying to sound "cute". Extremely disgusting voice. Zero fantasy mannerism, immersion breaking.
Is there a way to mod that ♥♥♥♥ out from the game?
Telling her to ♥♥♥♥ off is useless as she still self invited herself to my party; as expected from a lesser rpg game.

Did you know Linzi's voice actress is actually named Lindsay Sheppard? She's known for a lot of anime and kid shows voice work, but she also voices Minahgo in Wrath. Nyrissa (the nymph) is voiced by Amelia Tyler, who plays Wenduag in Wrath and is also the BG3 narrator.

Anyway, I didn't mind the voices. I think you can mute voice volume if they bother you, but not selectively.

I like Linzi. Sure she is kinda generic and clichéd. Classic bard. But who cares? Not everything has to be ironic or original.

Valerie, on the other hand, is genuinely obnoxious. Partly because Lawful Neutral (and Lawful is always annoying) but mostly because everyone keeps going on and on and ON about how allegedly "beautiful" she is... though her character portrait suggests Charisma was her dump-stat. I call her "the brick" because she looks both hard and completely plain.

Same for Octavia to some degree. I don't know why there are so many options to compliment her appearance when she looks like someone's emaciated granny.

Linzi though, is actually cute. Shame no romance Linzi option... but then given how she ends up, that kinda makes sense. No Jubilost romance option either.

i honestly dont get the hate for Linzi...she is a very versatile team member with some very potent spells..if u dont like her just bench her or tell her to leave
