been hitting it for a while whens its down nothing is happening what gives?

did you try hitting it with fire or acid? some enemies have regeneration and wont die till you hit them with acid or fire.

welp just chugged bunch of fire and acid potions at it nothing happened either its a bug or game devs are really bad at explaining beastiary tacts to new players not familiar whit these type of games

Try out a cold iron weapon, it should be able to kill it.

You might want to try the shops, I remember buying a +1 Cold Iron Longsword from one of them. Alternatively I heard that Old Sycamore has a hidden chest guarded by Mites that contains a cold iron dagger.

Other than Azure and 18G's suggestions...Phantasmal Killer :P. Linnorn fails the save and you kill it in a really cheap way.

Then you're doing it wrong. I killed mine with a +1 Cold Iron Longsword.

The enchantment has nothing to do with it. Even a normal, non-enchanted Cold Iron weapon is enough to disable the regeneration and bypass the DR.

yeah, stupid me can not read. i tryed it with an ice weapon +1. i will try again later with a "cold iron" weapon XD (i dont play the game in english), thx for your reply :-)
