Spider Webs = Game Over

My character and Valeria are both stuck in spider webs, and have been rolling to break free for the past 20 minutes. The DC is APPARENTLY 21 and I have a -1 modifier on both because of poison. If only that little bard jerk hadn't set the trap off instead of disabling it...

Or maybe being alt tabbed doesn't progress time. Webs have FINALLY disappeared after what felt like hours

Sorry my friend I think you win the cake on the worse defects in this game. I have been frustrated with the difficulty and balancing issues but thankfully I have not been stuck in a spider web.

Personally I would have reloaded a prior save.

I had Harrim as the last one to finally make it out of the web. I kept extending the combat log up, and up, and up to see all his fails. He finally made a save just before I stretched it to the top of the screen.

Look at it this way. You get to shoot webs to lol. Nothing like watching warriors cross the web while my flame warden lights them up

If it's in the dungeon under the tree with the mites and stupid lizards, I've noticed you don't need all your characters to return to the other level of the dungeon and it will warp who ever is stuck when you change floors

The problem with that would be having Linzi and Valerie try to survive their way to a transition. I was playing on hard so they couldn't have taken on anything besides maybe a single spider. I've since left the dungeon to recruit a fifth party member but uh... gotta await that next hotfix to do that...

Problem with webs is they stay after combat ends, you can literally spend 20 mins waiting to be able to move your party again -out of combat-.

Serious tip and consider picking this as answer so if anyone else finds it it will help them.

If you get suck in the spider web UNEQUIP EVERYTHING! The heavy gear that valerie and other characters with heavy armor + shield carry significantly reduces their scores to break free.

The webs also despawn ( one of the webtraps in the area under sycamore despawned for me after about 5 minutes in game time not sure if it gets paused when alt tabbed or if traps vary in duration)

The devs need to add the option to dismiss spell like in pnp, and webs should be able to be burnt with torch
