Jhod and Arsinoe should have diamond dust available. You also find a lot of it as loot, but if you need it now, just buy it.
Do diamonds have any actual use or its mostly for vendor trash? I have been mostly hording them...
There's another with a similar amount of rope lol.
Priests have a huge amount of diamond dust, diamonds, and restorative priest scrolls of all levels
Yeah that's it.
Well you can't save scum in PnP but I can here, I usually just go for the highest DC checks in the book parts
Sometimes I wish there was like a limited Ironman, where the game makes a few saves but not so few that your game is utterly over when your MC dies.
I haven't really had to rely on a lot of res scrolls but are you saying each time I res a fallen companion, I end up using diamond dust automatically? Or is there a way to create spells by giving the diamonds to an NPC like cleric like Arsinoe?
So scrolls don't need it? Just the caster if he/she uses their spell slot? Cool glad to know. Was considering doing some spring cleaning since I hoarded a lot of loot and most of them cannot be used by my MC or the companions.
With tabletop mechanics, the scroll creators provide material components while scribing the scroll. That's why spells with expensive material components (such as Raise Dead) are more expensive than other scrolls with the same spell and caster level.
(FYI for anyone trying to get into Wrath, scribe scroll and brew potion exist in the game. Owlcat uses a reagents mechanic that get used in the process, but expensive material components are not needed for item creation. However, the material components are still needed for normal casting.)
