Report a translation problem
With someone focusing on nature and +9 bonus on top of their skill it is very doable without save scumming, still a risk of failing though. Can wait to do it until lvl 9 since that is still act 2, to have 1-3 higher skill compared to doing it as soon as possible.
Worst part of failing is that quest stays in quest log I think. (that is really annoying)
So you could retry the check later.
Or at least just fail the damn quest so it leaves your journal.
