Dragon Hunting

Genuinely curious, has anyone found and slain any true dragons? True dragons are the ones with four legs and a pair of wings.

haven't seen a single one yet. There is a huge crag linnorn at the bridge in a cave, but that's the closest to a dragon I've seen even after having just finished the Varnhold quest. Wyverns are plentiful as are hydras. but no true dragons so far

Yes, there's a black dragon in the thousand voices area. Pretty easy fight, it has a high AC if it buffs with Seamantle, but that's about the only tough thing about it. You get a belt with +8 to all physical attributes, +7 bracers of AC, 2 or 3 +5 armors and 1000 BP if you beat it.

The lich is a bit tougher and gives better loot.

Wow, I'll check it out, and that is good loot. Where did you find a lich? Or are you taking about the cyclops lich?

There's a quest to open a vault in the basement of a tomb in the Kamelands. You have to kill 45 tough monsters and get the key from the well in your capitol. There's a lich in that vault.

Thanks, I know that place; I just haven't killed enough monsters.

The northernmost point of The Thousand Voices, the location is called Illuthiak's Lair (not sure about spelling).

I have no options to go north. I can snake up the river near castle of knives and that is as far as I can get.

I went back with enough gear to up my perception to 35 and it appeared, so I'm guessing that is' it. Thank you :)
