They way web works is that you get a reflex throw to negate it when it is initially cast on you if you fail the throw or you start walking through the webbed area you need to succeed on the grapple checks
Though in PnP there is also an alternative to the grapple which is an escape artist skill check, though since the skill list got cut down for being managable in a video game setting this one didn't make it in.

I don't know if Enlarge Person would do more harm than good...well, actually the harm is done so might be worth a shot. Otherwise it would take some major buffs to overcome the grapple penalty. If it's your own web Dispel Magic is the way to go if you carry the spell anyway. I haven't messed with the mechanics of it here much, but it is more punishing than other games (Neverwinter forward, anyway) to be sure.
