arcane spell failure for a cleric.
What cleric spells are considered arcane as far as arcane spell failure goes?

Cleric is a divine class. It's not subject to arcane spell failure. Divine classes are clerics, druids, rangers, paladins and inquisitors.

If you're referring to the feat Arcane Armor Training, for the same reason fighters can choose feats like Combat Casting despite not being spellcasters.

Maybe i need to be more specific. Why is tristan (who has Light armor Proficienty) unable to cast any spells while wearing light chainmail +1 ?

Youre not the only one. Someone else posted about this too. In my opinion it should be grayed out if you cant use it. :(

To elaborate on the previous answer - the Ecclesitheuge archetype for Clerics gives extra spellcasting options but at the cost of them taking a vow to be "armoured in their faith". Wearing physical armour breaks that vow so, while wearing armour, they cannot access their magic as punishment.

Thank you for your complete answer shadow88. I wish i could have learned that by looking at Tristan character sheet.

Yeah, it's a pain that you can't look at archetype details in full on your companions. Not sure if this restriction is even mentioned on the class select screen when you make a new character or when levelling up.

The best part is, the Ecclisitheurge is bugged in this game and can't use domain spells in non-domain slots past 1st level spells, so Tristian doesn't even get to reap the full benefits of his subclass.

Must've been introduced in a more recent patch because I remember Tristian being able to prepare Domain Spells in his normal slots back during that first week after launch.
