Is weapon finesse working?
I use a char that uses it normal str mod to hit on atk rolls, however when Im using my alderi fighter, Im picking up weapon finesse, have +4 dex mod, and somehow, I feel like a miss a lot. It doesnt happens that much with my str char. Is the perk working properly?

Weapon finesse broken at this momnet. Damage counted without dex bonus.

Weapon finesse only change the attack bonus from STR to DEX, the damage is still STR based.
So the damage part is not broken.

It works for single weapon style, and not using any two-weapon fighting (dual wielding off-hand weapon, shield bash, magus spell strike, etc)

Yes it is working fine.

Are you using a weapon that is supposed to work with weapon finesse? you can look at your character sheet and check attack bonus to see if you add dexterity or strength.

The people above are confusing weapon finesse with finesse training ( which does not work with dual wield at the moment )

You will miss alot. The devs thought that things like 33 AC on early game mobs on "normal" would be fun. The devs are jerks like that.

Weapon Finesse does nothing for damage, purely weapon accuracy.

To the OP: If you're using an Aldori Dueling Sword, then it should be applying your dex mod to your attack rolls (the dueling sword can benefit from Weapon Finesse if you have Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Dueling Sword) but with how the game's been set up you wouldn't be able to equip the thing without that feat). You're not dual-wielding, are you? Because that seems to be broken at the moment.

Finally; are you talking about Weapon Finesse or the Rogue ability "Finesse Training"? Because those are two different things and I've seen a lot of people mention one when they mean the other.

Weapon finesse:I am indeed using an aldori dueling sword, 1 only, single handed. I was just curious over it. I know Ill miss a lot, especially since Im playing in challenging. Its just that I played both a dex and str build, with both builds having their respective mods at +4, and I noticed a big difference in attack rolls. And yes, Im talking atk rolls, not dmg, I know dmg is something else(I have slashing grace). Maybe someone else might like to try it and see it. Maybe it was just the draw of the luck in both times. But i was just curious over it.
