Meelee Aasimar Abyssal sorceror

I am trying to make a summon based character but the Abyssal bloodline gives free strenght bonus so i think that picking a long spear or any meelee long ranged weapon to keep using the meelee and not getting oportunity attack while i summon and the team + summons hold the enemy


Now to the main question a meelee sorceror is doable or should i change classes to maybe a Magus ?
