Quite frankly disappointed...
it's a 3rd party book by dream scarred press i have it as well but it's not offical paizo material it's 3rd party.
Edit:
that said it's an amazing book with some really unique classes that i love, the psionic healer is probably my favorite! with sharing health and damage among the party, just some really great material.
How is the arcanist or duelist different from the available classes and archetypes?
That is my favorite book of all the specialty class books. I'd have a hard time sitting in on a pnp game if the classes weren't allowed.
Good thing the book that introduced the Gunslinger introduced a bunch of firearms (the ones marked as "Early" firearms would be the only ones in existance in Golarion, though).[aonprd.com]
Yeah, that'd be the big issue there - this far from Alkenstar[pathfinderwiki.com] any firearms would have to be made by the Gunslinger themselves, which would necessitate the inclusion of a weapon crafting system and a way to enchant your own equipment (because fat chance finding a +1 flaming frost pepperbox in the Stolen Lands).
The Arcanist[aonprd.com] is unique in that it prepares spells like a wizard but then casts them like a sorcerer. If you've played a wizard in Pillars of Eternity 1, it's basically the same form of casting. They also have access to a variety of Arcane Exploits - they have to spend points from their Arcane Reservoir to use them, but they can give some very cool abilities.
And I'm assuming they mean the Swashbuckler[aonprd.com] since the Duelist is a Prestige Class and, I think, might already be in the game. The Swashbuckler, aside from being a dex-based fighter, typically with a rapier, it borrows the Gunslinger's Grit mechanic and renames it Panache, giving them access to an array of abilities called Deeds.
