Sadly, no. The weapon can't be used with Weapon Finesse and that's typically Step One of making a dexterity-focused melee character.

Yeah, to my knowledge; the Aldori Dueling Sword is the only one-handed slashing weapon in the game that's compatible with Weapon Finesse. The only other non-light weapons that work with Weapon Finesse are the Rapier and the Estoc.
