Alcohol/Books
Hey guys, is there any reason not to sell the books/alcohol that I've acquired? They're getting heavy but the completionist in me is saying to hold onto them for some later quest.

If i were to store them in my chest, would I miss out on anything that I couldn't go back for later (after going back to the city to pick up the required item)?

Once you get your barony, you can store items safely (unless there are bugs with it). In the chest by the throne or in your personal bed room. Like my kingdom inventory currently shows two full inventories with duped gear. I haven't tested if this will actually create dupes once you take them out, but you can definitely see two full inventories.

*like when you're scrolling down there's a blank bar and then another full inventory list.

Thank you for your reply. Is there anything that I could miss by not having an item on me at the moment? Say I meet somebody that wants Book of Whatever and I have it in my kingdom but not in my inventory, are there any opportunities that could be missed?

The Alchemist wants 3 books. I don't know if any other are needed. You can store them and will maintain access to them. Titled - "Of Transmutations and Bodily Poisons" Vol. 1-3 You would need to take those to Oleg's Trading -- assuming you get the guy Bokken, for your alchemist.

You can also store stuff in Oleg's Inn and go back to it if you don't get the stuff before Act 2.

One of the artisans wants some absinth, another one an emerald - sometimes things like that happen - but as far as I can tell, you can sell everything.
I am keeping ALL skins, because the description hints to artisans, but so far they are just taking up chest space.

Thank you guys, I feel confident to store them for now and save a LOT of space. Thank you!

You're welcome. Those books and things do take up weight. While on the topic, be sure to save anything with a yellow background that may say something about a collector or antiquities expert. Those items bring more money to you after you get your barony. Most aren't high weight, though you can store them.

The other thing to save (which also has a faint yellow background) is Diamond Dust and certain bones that are for spellcasting, if you cast the spells in question.

I have saved everything yellow. I've made quite a profit from that :)

Later in the game, you can use some alcohol in recipes.
