How does vision/light work?
So I've noticed that no races have darkvision. Does that mean that there is no darkness in the game? Also, What exactly is the effect of bright light in this game as opposed to PnP? Thanks guys.

It acts as if pretty much everyone has darkvision. The Light spell helps you, the player, see around you. But that's about it.

All the races that normally get Darkvision and the like instead get a bonus to their Perception skill.

I see... So if I'm fighting in a cave as a human, but have no torch/light/etc out, I suffer no penalty to attacks?

You can get darkvision in the game

If you let the lamatsu whatever priestress alive and invite her to your cord you get a random encounter with cultists and they "attack" you with this kind offer if you gave there religion a chance.
