The Door to nowhere bug?
So im at jubilost companion quest, the door to nowhere. I have find the book and the journal said that i have to meet him in tavern at 24th of each month, when i met him and luna, i failed at perception check and now i can only give her 3000 gold, the problem is that choice needs me to be chaotic good where my character is lawful good, is it not possible to continue the quest? https://imgur.com/a/w3g5WUw

Try #1 and/or #2?

May need to load the last autosave. Failed checks and end the possibility of completing quests and they really should have included something like the "take 20" that you can in PnP to get past this besides save/reload cycle.

There are spells like Heroism & potions that increase your Charisma that increase you skills checks. Clerics like Tristain have abilities that also increase you skill check for a short time. An extreme case, you could respec for since the Pathfinder Society person is there in the tavern with you but that may not a great solution if you already used you free respecs. You still may want to do this though and put points into Persuation since these checks are one of the biggest sources of XP in the game (late game 50k+ per check).

Depending on your party, you should be able to add about 10 or more to that since bonuses of different types stack.

You can't take 20 on Persuasion checks...

No you cannot and that was absolutely not the point. You can see I said "something like" as an example of a way you can work around failed skill checks in PnP to help avoid a broken quest. In the cRPG they increased the skill checks to compensate for save scumming and did not include other Pathfinder alternatives such as take 20 or aid another. Not all apply to all skill checks but in the cRPG none are present.

Thanks for nothing.

ok im dumb, its because i lack 3000 gold, the option didnt actually need me to be chaotic good

The Bag of Tricks mod has an option to let you automatically 'take 20' on all skill checks, thereby reducing the need for reloads.
