Full Plate vs Half Plate +1
I don't get it,

the Full Plate (heavy armor):

AC 9
-6 AC Penalty
35% misscast chance
+1 max dexterity
Weight: 50 lbs
Worth: 375 Gold

The Half Plate +1 (heavy armor):

AC 9
-6 AC Penalty
40% misscast chance
+0 max dexterity
Weight: 50 lbs
Worth: 437 Gold

So it's in every fashion worse or equal but costs more. What's the point or am I missing something?

Half-plate costs more it's because it's enchanted and as such can't be easily destroyed, for example(which is not implemented in the game).

Okay you edited the post, so my previous answer makes no sense anymore.

I think half plate should have a higher dex bonus than full plate and I think it's a (minor) bug. Why should I be more hindered in a half plate than in a full plate?

Enchantment adds base value to the item. Not all items are enchanted sensibly. Think of it as a gold-plated iphone.
And no, half-plate is exactly as intended. It's a mismatched poorly fitted gear, so it's indeed worse in ever way possible than a custom full plate both in-game and irl.

I think of it as a BUG ;)

There is no intention to use the one piece over the other, so it's just useless gameplay-wise. You can try to paint lipstick on that pig all you want. It's useless and nobody in her/his right mind would use a half plate +1 in this game over a full plate because it's in every category worse or equal. I think this should change.

You can think of it however you want. Working as intended.

Half-plate armor combines elements of full plate and chainmail, incorporating several sizable plates of sculpted metal with an underlying mesh of chain links. While this suit protects vital areas with several layers of armor, it is not sculpted to a single individual’s frame, reducing its wearer’s mobility even more than a suit of full plate. Half-plate armor includes gauntlets and a helm.

Half-plate is supposed to essentially be something you find and put on until you're finally able to afford to get yourself a nice set of full plate armor made for your character, at least in the tabletop. In the game...well, you can buy yourself a set of full plate right after the tutorial and getting the gold for it is extremely easy, making half-plate almost entirely useless. Its just one of those things where you get something that works for a tabletop but doesn't really work for a videogame.
