Sneak Attack with Mods.
I'm getting tired of this, I know something is messing with the flanking mechanics in this game. Here are the mods I have installed:

Bag of Tricks - QoL
Call of the Wild - Extra classes and such
Eldritch Arcana - Traits/FCB/More classes (Modified to work with CotW)
Highlight Learnable Scrolls - As written
Kingdom Resolution - Adjusting time requirements on events, and keeping events from failing. (Installed after the third quest gotten on the 30th expired at the beginning of next month.)
Respecialization - Rerolling companions into cohesive teams
The Loot Checklist - As written
Visual Adjustments - Toggling various visual effects, like removing ugly armor overlay. (Sleeves of Many Garments-esque)

I have Nok-Nok and Dog both with Outflank, they just KO'd someone, but neither got flank bonus on attack rolls, and Nok-Nok's sneak attack didn't go off. So I know something is definitely screwy with flanking.
None of them say they alter flanking, but this is getting annoying.

By the way, how can dog have an outflank? Can you choose feats for animal companions?

With CoTW it nerfs the animal companions but lets you level them up like in PnP so yeah, you can get them Outflank it's pretty awesome.

As for the topic at hand @Wandering Magi if you're using version 1.120 or newer of Call of the Wild one of the patch notes is "fixed broken flanking" which I can only assume means you have to actually be flanking the target, not actually just move 2 people up to the target. If you're using that version I'd suggest downgrading to version 1.119 before the change was implemented, other than that I don't think anything else could be messing with it. I use CoTW as well and I actually avoided updating when I read that in the change log because I never wanted a proper flanking mod and I saw no way to toggle it off myself as there's nothing in the options or the config file I can see. That's all I would know how to change too.
In this case flanking was actually broken for a version, and the author fixed it back to the way it was. I’m using the latest update and flanking works as it did in vanilla.

So yeah for the TC check to see what version of CotW you’ve got, might have the bugged one.

First of all: I believe in some cases creatures are immune to flanking. Rogues and TSS should have it with level progression. Are you sure this is not the case?

If it were one or two creatures, sure, but this has been every case. Wolves, warg, wyvern, fey, spiders just to name a few of the recent ones. They can't all be immune to sneak, especially when I can get the sneak bonus when they're flat footed at the beginning.

Oh is that what the update meant? Glad to know, now I can update too haha.

Well, ♥♥♥♥. Looks like I've been running 1.119, so I got it just in time to get my flanking broken. Smh. Updating now, guess we'll see if this worked.

Yup, that did it. Thanks for the help guys! (Can't believe I had the one patch that killed flanking.)
