Mud golem?
I'm on my first play-through of the dlc that's just an endless dungeon and I'm trying to beat it with a four man party of single class characters on challenging (the difficulty above normal) and everything was going fine till I ran into mud golems and nothing I have seems to work.

I have a 14th level magus (standard), a cleric, a rogue, and a two handed fighter.

Problem is the golem is immune to most spells, and the tar pit around him seems to just work through everything.

I've tried wings, fly, freedom of movement, nothing works and since my fighter has no mobility ranks (he's never needed them) I just can't get him anywhere near the thing without him being on the floor the entire time.

Is there any way to circumvent this tar cheese at all?

it looks like you only have 4 character. You may want to fall back and get some ranged or casters. I don't know if it would work but Dimensional Door can probably avoid the approach

hey, I too am also searching for answers to combat mud golems so i'm bumping this post; could really use some help as well.

so far i've managed by hoping my rogue-like companions land a ranged crit/sneak attack while my tank-like companions, summons, and any animal companions are used as sacrificial punching bags. however i've run into a room with more than one mud golem and that's just one too many for me; my rogue-like companions are just not fast enough to take down all mud golems from a distance before they pummel the life out of my meat shields--and i'm only on normal difficulty. throw in some summer/autumn golems, frost giants, and regular giants, and the whole dungeon just feels impossible.

my janky solution doesn't even feel ideal; having to cast raise dead spells on killed companions and rest after each room seems really ludicrous and expensive.

I had a two handed fighter using a glaive and had Legendary Proportion cast on him. With that reach he just stood in place and wailed for massive damage all around the room.

nice. because you suggested legendary proportion i recruited an alchemist; but as it turns out, their force bombs does enough damage against them, and even causes them to fall. crisis averted haha.

alchemist are essential, alchemists solve problems
