To the Devs: Greater Restoration Rest in own Villages
Please make it possible to have the full recovery Rest in your villages/towns. It doesnt make sense that you cant do it, both, from a gameplay standpoint and from logic. If you insist make that rest only possible if you have an alchemist/herbalist in the city, but im sick and tired of traveling across the whole world just to have that big rest.

Not every village should have high level clerics like our old Erastil-worshipper.

And why you even need a rest in the capital? There is simply zero need to do so.

Well, that could make it into the reason to build the herbalist huts and temples in those villages. Instead of spamming kobold districts. I hope devs will make buildings more useful...

Do you know that Greater Restoration spell is VERY expensive? And no way simply village even have caster able to memorise it.

It doesnt need to have that, you can have that rest at olegs post too. what is your lore explanation for that? Bokken? Any kind of alchemist/healer, who is worth his profession, should be able to cure permanent ability damage/negative levels/deaths door. There are plenty of reasons you have to cure some of that.

This is a QoL change, nothing more, nothing less.

What QoL? For already cheating game mode? Because on normal+ difficulty resting in capital / at oleg have zero difference with resting in field.

No, I'm against idea of making cheating mode even more cheating. Use at least tiny amount of efforts to learn game and you will never die on story-easy.

But we can have a town alchemist with Infusion/Brew Potion and cleric with Scribe Scrolls. I'm sure he wouldn't mind spending 10 Restorations on healing the King. It's not like Bokken is the only dude in the kingdom who can brew Restoration potion. Even if only once per couple weeks. It's just a QoL indeed, I agree with the topic starter.

Im pretty sure you cant cure permanent ability damage/level drain in the field, but correct me if im wrong there. All my proposed change does is save you some traveling time/maybe a bit of money if you happen to strategically place your settlements.

Even then, if you bind it to the proposed condition, that you need to have an alchemist/temple there this evens out.

On top of that this would actually give you a good reason to visit your settlements apart from artisans once in a while. I really don't get why this would not be a plus on every front.
