How to get my animal companion? help pls
i have a ranger on 5th level and already chose the wolf as my companion. yet, where is it? do i have to find a wolf first and, i dunno, make it my friend or something?

please explain to me as if i were 5 years old. thanks!

You might have to reload or make an area transition to make it appear near you, they can spawn in in odd places sometimes.

Hm, did that multiple times... any other things i could do or is the game just bugged? i am almost at level 6 and have traveled a lot scince reaching level 4.

The animal companion sometime seem to fail to appear, especially for Amiri.

We sometime need to rest or travel for the animal to appear but the only real ''fix'' is to respec with the in game NPC Anoriel Eight Eyes. She is going to be at Oleg in the early game or at the capital tavern later. Ask for a Tutor and the difficulty setting need to allow respec.

Try rebuilding your character, either through Anoriel or by using the mod.

The wolf should have appeared the moment you chose it.

Huh, it works. However, for some reason I dont have the same amount of skill points anymore when I respec. Strange. Are some lost points worth the cost for my companion?

i took a screenshot of my stats before i started to respec. i chose the same race, same class, etc

not sure if it's true but that may be because of having an item on while leveling up, some times when i level up some feats that shouldn't be avaible for my characters due to low stats appear avaible because a belt of dex. Maybe your character had some int while lvling up and got few extra skill points?
