Yes, dex increase AC and range accuracy so it's a good pick. Though if you have less than 10 STR you will do more damage with a crossbow.
Nothing wrong with using bows otherwise. But you'll really need the 'Point Blank Shot' and 'Precise shot' feats to use them effectively against targets that your team is in melee with.
But as a pure druid you probably wont be as effective with a bow as other classes. Getting a level of a class that gives sneak attack can help quite a bit with damage though.
Wondering if there's something more efficient.
It seems a really bad idea to multiclass as a pur caster, and i don't see the point of wasting feats in range ability.
A druid should specialized in invocation school to get access to the feats that increase animal invocation stat and number and the ability to cast spell while transformed then maybe some feats that would improve his melee capacity or other melee capacity.
Did you mean conjuration? Because that opens the door to augment summoning which is essential to your animal summoning type Druid. I think druids get some nice evocation spells too so sf evocation is a good pick as well.
But to give you a general idea on what in my opinion work those are the ways i could personally build my druid bellow unfair.
- Defender of the True World using a scimitar and shield with a bear animal companion. A kinda jack of all trade offtank support character. (Stat example: 16,14,14,x,16,7)
- Feyspeaker true spell caster with the lightning domain (8,16,12,x,x,19)
- Feyspeaker 19 / Scaled fist monk 1 Shapeshifter specialist (16,14,14,x,x,18)
- A beastmaster with a reach weapon or with a scimitar and a bear (Sacred Huntmaster 3 / Mad Dog 2 / Druid 15) (16,13,14,x,16,7)
- Druid 19 / Traditional monk 1 using a quarterstaff (18,14,12,x,16,7)
...
All of them are going to be good in the early game bellow unfair and do pretty much all the same thing, offtank dps support, except the ''true caster'' since he don't have a pet.
A herald caller cleric with the animal domain will be considerably more impactful than a druid of any stripe. They offer a more useful and comprehensive collection of buffs/cures for the party as well as a number of debuffs that are surprisingly useful. And if you go the standard route of an Erastil animal/community cleric, you can look forward to the 8th level community-domain granted power which is among the strongest buffs available in Kingmaker.

(this is post buffs)
Thundering Claw of the Bear God is a +4 Shock Thundering Scimitar. Any creature struck by a critical hit from this scimitar or its wielder's natural attack becomes the target of lightning, as per lightning storm spell (5d6 damage, 24 DC Reflex half).
All natural attacks from both the wielder of this scimitar and the wielder's animal companion have concussive and shocking modifier applied to them. If the wielder is wild shaped into a bear or if their animal companion is a bear, the sonic and electrical damage from their attacks is increased to 1d10.
no they doesn't
