Varnhold's lot: Magic weapons
I am about to start Varnhold's lot and I would like to play a paladin, developing him toward Dreadful carnage. I am puzzled, though, which Weapon focus I should take along the way and unfortunately I have not found any lists with magic (two-handed) weapons you can find in the DLC. Any recommendations or hints which great magic weapons for a paladin you can find?

Thanks in advance!

It's pretty low level campaign (you end up level 8-9), in the end you'd probably wear +1 to +3 stuff at best. I don't remember anything super good 2-handed, and the most exceptional thing is +4 mithral plate but that's a big rarity.

Thanks for the quick response! I had read earlier that you can progress to level 12 or something... starting at level 5 - almost 6 - there is not so much room for character development anyways...

Well, if anyone else remembers a nice weapon they found in Varnhold's lot, thanks for sharing :-)

You can buy just about any +1 item from the main merchant, but I can think of three items with higher bonuses that I found. There's a +3 Falcata, a +2 Flaming Longbow (not composite, which limits it a bit), and a +2 Dwarven Waraxe (think it's Frost, but I didn't have anyone who could use it so I can't remember).

Splendid, that's great news for my current playthrough with a Dwarven Paladin of Torag (I know it's a suboptimal build due to the negative charisma modifier; it's purely a RP decision). Adding that I have a slightly adjusted "copy" of Gekkor in my party, two of these weapons fit very well into my game. Highly appreciated, Panther!
