Hi.

What weapon should i use for a pure Sylvan Sorcerer? Or should i just equip a quarterstaff and auto acid splash?

Cheers

whatever you can find with good spells or effects built in. There is +2necro DC dagger out there, but that's not really what sylvan sorc is about. Generally it doesn't matter much. Find yourself some staff with innate spells if you really want something in hand.

That and disable the AI so your toon doesn't get any ideas about poking things with his tiny stick.

I usually right-click acid splash if I'm not on unfair. but disabling Ai works too.

I really prefer to disable AI altogther. I hate it when i need to cast a spell for whatever reason (adds, bad rolls etc.) and i have to wait for half a round to do it.

With AI disabled i can cast what i need to cast instantlly, and it's not like i miss the 2-3 dmg from acid splash anyway.

honestly either works. half a round doesn't matter much and neither does that damage. it's whatever nut it can lasthit some trolls for me instead of clicking.

Your pet is best weapon.

Cheers for all the answers.

Quick final question.

What pet is best for this class?
Shadenuat Apr 16, 2019 @ 10:14am
Scolopendra. Because Nausicaa is the best.

Smilodon for damage, Leopard if you have too many people on front lines (it is the smallest pet), Mammoth if you want to never sleep haunted by stomping sound, Elk, Boar are also alright for high AC (I think), Bears are cute, Dog/Wolf if you want to Trip something.

I know charisma is the main stat, but should/do i need to pump up any other stats? Is dex important for cantrip attacks?
Shadenuat Apr 16, 2019 @ 10:26am
DEX affects your ranged touch attacks yes, so if you plan to use them get some. Although rays are best on Arcane Trickster.
InEffect Apr 16, 2019 @ 10:27am
dex/cha are important. 14 con on everyone is pretty must standard.
Eonwe Apr 16, 2019 @ 10:27am
Cantrips are not important past early game.

Get some dexterity if you want to use ray spells (spells that require a ranged touch attack), along with the point blank and precise shot feat. This is 2 feats + stats so it's worth considering if you're really going to use rays.

I personally don't use them much, if at all, on sorcerers.

Cheers for the answers.

What spell focus should i be looking at for my main?
Shadenuat Apr 16, 2019 @ 10:35am
For a Sorc that strongly depends on spells you pick. Conjuration, Evocation are easy picks. Illusion, Necromancy are a bit advanced. Transmutation is for Disintegrate spam builds but there's Octavia for that. Others are meh.
