You can heal while resting!

I'm what, 20 hours in, and finally figured out how to rest in a way that it heals you! If you click the 'Rations' button at the top left it'll then let you rest longer than the 8 hours requires to recover spells. I rested for three days, and the combat log told the story.

Rest, recover a few HP.
Linzi casts heal.
Rest, recover a few HP.
Linzi casts heal.
Rest, recover a few HP.
Party fully recovered!

I've been trying to figure out how my level 2 cleric-less, potion-less party is supposed to go on. I've been doing fights where everyone had less than 5hp and I just had to hope for the best. Now I can finally fight again.

I made a new party, before I had Harrim but this time he wasn't in the cave. It defaults to only using Hunting for food and won't let you choose to rest for longer periods. I assume because the hunting takes an unknown amount of time. It wasn't obvious that you could click the rations button to 'select' it. I knew you could heal, but didn't realize you could do one big rest instead of a bunch of disappointing, heals 3hp, short rests.

If even one person learns how to heal off of this, it'll be worth it. No wonder they give you 80 days. 40 of those will be for healing!

lol yeah im still on my first play through as a "merlin" based figure off the old scifi show lol so I've been basing moral choices off what he would do. I guess I picked the right deal bc I have the barbarian chick hunt for me while I carry some rations for dungeons. god I love this game lol
