Failed an Ancient Curse. Is that bad?
I just failed the quest "An Ancient Curse".
Does this matter? I thought I had to go to the Bald Hilltop after the timer finished, because when I went to there when I received the quest nothing was there. And The game is not very clear about deadlines. A timeline chart would have been very appreciated.

I'm playing on Effortless Kingdom Management and Invincible. Will I have any problem later?

I love the cRPG part of the game, but the deadlines and obfuscated kingdom mechanics give me a lot of stress. I don't want to waste my time by getting into an unwinable state.

I don't think it matter much if the main quest of that chapter is done except for some stat lost, gold and maybe 1pts of unrest level.

To be honest, i don't know since i have never try... but many will fail part 7 of the curse since you have to wait while being bombarded by high dc problems and it doesn't seem to have any impact overall.

I failed the first "Ancient Curse" as well because of that very same reason :D
Doesn't matter, just keep playing.
As a rule of thumb, you should plan to visit the Hilltop some ~ 3-5 days before the end of the deadline.

It's just the game's awkward way of saying that the curse is impacting the kingdom. As long as you haven't got a game over then you're fine, keep going.

Thanks for the replies. I'll continue playing.
