Are the Undead Guards real?

So, I've heard many people claim that if your alignment is NE, your city guards will be skeletons.

I have just got my barony and...my guards are generic human soldiers in grey chainmail.

Scouring the internet, I find I haven't actually seen a single screenshot (save for one from early beta) showing these skeletal guards in a NE town.

So is this actually a thing, as people keep mentioning? Because I haven't SEEN it anywhere and I'm NE with boring human guards in my new town.

I had them on my first playthrough. I also remember I had golems.
I think you need to agree to use undead as labor workforce, by upgrading Arcane stat and choosing right option during dialoge with Magister.

Really? That would be sick. Unortunately Im playing a paladin right now. Very good to know. The golem btw, you only get by making a certain choice in the game.
