Anyway, back to topic: All I really want is an option to completely turn off turn-based mode and remove the toggle button.
I would like to know which one is it? Is the game meant to be a RTwP game first and a turn based game second, or are we going to have a UI element in the game to swap between turn based and RTwP? It was advertised that the sequel was going to be designed with RTwP in mind. Yet there is UI real estate in the game that contradicts this advertisement.
Anyway, I had recently bought all of the DLC and was planning a new complete playthrough, only to be confronted with all of this yawn-based stuff, that I have no intention of using. Especially not after testing it. That certainly isn't a particularly pleasing experience. :)
Edit: Also, since when is this an "Anti-TB post"? I am only asking if anyone knows a way to get rid of the button so I dont keep accidentily hitting it, because its right next to the stop character button, and do you wanna know what happens if you hit it instead of the stop button? If you answered "You get displaced" or "You die because the order and delay of animation matters" you are correct and earn your right to be annoyed of this joke.
You wouldn't think it would be too hard for owlcat to remove it, especially when they have a tick box to disable it, which it pointless as why have a button to disable it, if it doesn't change anything if you never enable it?
Classic owlcat.
I've never seen a post asking for it since I started playing it. In any case, asking for something is not the same as asking for something to be removed.
@ShadowninjaHD - did I say you were one of the three? Your request is perfectly reasonable. You might want to look at your mouse settings though, if you're constantly clicking on the wrong icon.
Now it is eleased. And now almost every day there are threads with a request to remove it. It's so funny and ridiculous.
I can understand TB fans, because before the release of the TB mod they did not have the opportunity to play their favorite mode. But you RTvP fans surprise me. You just need not to press a button to play your favorite mode. And you require the developers to make changes to the whole game, to the UI because it's HARD for you NOT TO PRESS a button.
It is so funny.
You didn't directly say it, thats true. But I created multiple discussion topics since the update that complained about various bugs and other things that werent working properly anymore. And a lot of TB fanatics saw it as a "personal attack at their flawless game", insulting the hell out of everyone they saw not praising the update. So I hope you can kinda understand that I get a little angry at even the slightest hint of such a person. And the fact you wrote "ceasefire of the Anti-TB posts" under this post sounds very much like a direct reference.
This has absolutely nothing to do with mouse settings. Just with unpractical placement of a button that has a hotkey for it by default anyways. I can guarantee you that I am not the only one who missclicks from time to time and having to reset an unfair difficulty battle 9 rounds in, just because that button is there, is VERY annoying.
