Other Feats are useful only if you know what you are doing, because there are a lot of rods in the game. For example, Extend is good to multiply things like Mirror Image and also make it last a bit longer. Empower is good if you take something like Spell Specialization and spam that one best spell, etc.
Will check it out, next level :D Thanks
You can use rods for higher lvl buffs like greater heroism but having every single min/lvl buffs extended mean you will never have to rest mid dungeon and rebuff again which is an awesome QoL improvement you can set up for yourself.
Spell specialization
Conjurationx1 augment sums super sums if you are going too summon.
The you can take extra channeling and selective channeling if you are going to channel. needs charisma 14 good if you are Sun and Glory domains or healing...
Evocation focus and elemental if you are going elemental domains sun fire weather...
It all depends on your build.. right now the biggest problem is domains, they are bugged.

I've never found Maximize to be worth it, mathematically it just isn't worth the level increase over Empower. E.g. if you have a 10D6 damage spell, on average it will do: 35 normal, 52.5 empowered, 60 maximized. So empowered gives you a 50% damage increase and maximized gives you a 71% damage increase. If you're using a 10D4 damage spell, on average it will do: 25 normal, 37.5 empowered, 40 maximized. So empowered gives you a 50% damage increase and maximized gives you a 60% damage increase. Basically, the smaller the range of the dice the worse maximized does. Since this game is mostly using D4 and D6s for spell damage, if you're taking one damage improving metamagic, take Empower.
Hieghten is useful for increasing DCs and managing spell levels.
Quicken would be useful if there was PvP in this game, or there was an effective mage AI. Currently it just isn't useful. If you want to toss two spells a round, make a dual kukri EK.
I wouldn't pick it too early though. Maybe after I got access to lv 6 or 7 spells.
I mean dont use them if you dont want to, youre just making the game harder and more tedious for yourself...
I'm actually wondering ig Nobleman's Bow that gives you the Point Blank Shot and Precice shot would have those apply to my range touch spells or only to attacks made with the bow...
