Since slayer doesn't benefit much from going over 12 you can build up a nice character. Deliverer12/Archae2/DD4/F2 is the meta choice. Deliverer12/V4/Scoundrel4 works for dex, if you are masochistic enough and hate monks for whatever reason.
For the race motherless is the best melee choice for most melee builds. Closely followed by the human which is the go-to with most gishes. Aasimars are nice for tempo wings. but with it costing you 2 feats compared to humans it's only worth it on feat-rich builds and even then it's highly debatable. Deliverer12/DG3/Scion1/DD4 also works surprisingly well.
And if you limit yourself on dips you can always just do V8, I guess, and get wings out of it, it's just kinda boring.
Fauchard: If you manage to get Serpent Prince (a tier 1) from Shaynih'a, then it become one of the best weapon choice for mid game and not a bad one for end game.
Greatsword: Is similar to fauchard in a way, but Swift Blow (a tier 4) from Varrask is a higher tier then Serpent Prince and also impossible to get before coronation.
Falchion: I have never really pay attention on when or what you get... so i don't know.
Personally, i will go for fauchard and focusing on upgrading Shaynih'a tier for better and more chances of getting Serpent Prince. Mostly by doing her quest fast and going for Relation 4 as fast as possible.
As for the race, Human.
Generally speaking fauchards are excellent choice for cleave builds because of their high threat range. In this regard, Serpent Prince's overall DPS will probably exceed Mastery's, due to it being "destructive" (higher crit multiplier).
Glaives are also a consideration. While they lack the threat range of fauchards, they don't require exotic weapon feat and there is at least one excellent glaive to be found in the game: Unstoppable Petal, a +5 glaive with +2d6 sonic damage for example. Glaive build has lower crit chance but higher normal damage than a fauchard build. The only problem is that really good glaives come much later than the Serpent Prince, which is really broken at the point in the game when you can get it.
As for 1 lvl vivi dips... not a fan of those. Yeah, they will help you in the early game but as your progress, the bonus you get from that dip becomes less and less worthwhile, as a weak mutagen and +1d6 extra sneak attack is nothing in late game compared to, for example, getting an extra attack earlier (due to higher BAB), getting an extra feat, or a powerful class ability. Just my opinion. You can also always purchase the services of the Pathfinder guild - if you, at any point, change your mind.
It's very fun and strong to have a high critical chance if you have enough melees with outflank.
optional is 1 lvl of monk for crane wing and wis to ac if you go unarmoured.
