Help with 2hand Slayer build
So I decided I want to make a good play through with the slayer class but after playing the game and messing around with classes/races for a bit I'm having a hard time finalizing my build.

I decided I don't wan to dual wield period. So I'm going for pure str 2 handed slayer. I just need help deciding what weapon and race to use. I have narrowed my weapons down to 3 because I don't really like the style of greataxes for my slayer. Fauchards seem insanely good on a slayer that has full BAB sneak attack and high crit range and cleaves. Greatswords and Falchions also seem great because I prefer their style but lack of reach really doesn't seem to make them quite as good.

Now I was also considering LG deliverer because lvl 10 2d6 damage seems juicy as hell! But that is about mid to late mid game I assume? And I don't really like builds that take a while to get off the ground and it does lose 1 slayer feat at 2 I think?

Now I also can't decide between a human aasimar or tiefling. The motherless tiefling just seem to be the objectively best one with blur and a bite attack that can do sneak damage (can it crit too?). Also does bite work if attacking with a reach weapon outside close range? Aasimar definitely fits the role for a LG deliverer and the lvl 10 wings seem very useful. Then there's human who seems like it would be best if I went with fauchard for the extra feat to get the build started fastest. Extra skill point doesn't seem that big of a deal but still useful.

I plan to dip 1 lvl in viv but if I go deliverer it wouldn't be till 11. Might dip into 1 other class but not sure which one as long as it's not monk. I dislike monks in pretty much every fantasy setting and must uphold my prejudice.

I've been trying to decide all day and it's driving me nuts! Just need some advice so I can get a full play through started already!

LG irori deliverer with menacing style and a vanquisher. Use oak to stack AC further. Pretty no-brainer set-up.
Since slayer doesn't benefit much from going over 12 you can build up a nice character. Deliverer12/Archae2/DD4/F2 is the meta choice. Deliverer12/V4/Scoundrel4 works for dex, if you are masochistic enough and hate monks for whatever reason.
For the race motherless is the best melee choice for most melee builds. Closely followed by the human which is the go-to with most gishes. Aasimars are nice for tempo wings. but with it costing you 2 feats compared to humans it's only worth it on feat-rich builds and even then it's highly debatable. Deliverer12/DG3/Scion1/DD4 also works surprisingly well.

I said no greataxes at all for my run. Also Not going to dip heavy into many classes at the most I'm going to dip 1 into viv and maybe 1 other that is it. I also don't want to do the menacing style, I t just doesn't fit what I want from this character. I'm not looking for the most meta builds out there. Just trying to look at what's best for the options I wanted.

if not greataxe you can always cough up a feat for oversized bastards. Would also work decently as you can have hotswap with a tower shield.
And if you limit yourself on dips you can always just do V8, I guess, and get wings out of it, it's just kinda boring.

With the skeleton merchant you can now get 'ok' mid game greatsword and fauchard. I'm not sure if he has falchions, but probably...

Fauchard: If you manage to get Serpent Prince (a tier 1) from Shaynih'a, then it become one of the best weapon choice for mid game and not a bad one for end game.

Greatsword: Is similar to fauchard in a way, but Swift Blow (a tier 4) from Varrask is a higher tier then Serpent Prince and also impossible to get before coronation.

Falchion: I have never really pay attention on when or what you get... so i don't know.

Personally, i will go for fauchard and focusing on upgrading Shaynih'a tier for better and more chances of getting Serpent Prince. Mostly by doing her quest fast and going for Relation 4 as fast as possible.

As for the race, Human.

The highest tier Fauchard in the game (as far as I know) is Mastery, Shanih'a's master item. It's a +5 fauchard with +5 CMB bonus that allows you to do a normal attack if you use a combat maneuver. As such, it's also great for builds that utilize things like trip or disarm.
Generally speaking fauchards are excellent choice for cleave builds because of their high threat range. In this regard, Serpent Prince's overall DPS will probably exceed Mastery's, due to it being "destructive" (higher crit multiplier).

Glaives are also a consideration. While they lack the threat range of fauchards, they don't require exotic weapon feat and there is at least one excellent glaive to be found in the game: Unstoppable Petal, a +5 glaive with +2d6 sonic damage for example. Glaive build has lower crit chance but higher normal damage than a fauchard build. The only problem is that really good glaives come much later than the Serpent Prince, which is really broken at the point in the game when you can get it.

As for 1 lvl vivi dips... not a fan of those. Yeah, they will help you in the early game but as your progress, the bonus you get from that dip becomes less and less worthwhile, as a weak mutagen and +1d6 extra sneak attack is nothing in late game compared to, for example, getting an extra attack earlier (due to higher BAB), getting an extra feat, or a powerful class ability. Just my opinion. You can also always purchase the services of the Pathfinder guild - if you, at any point, change your mind.

Is crit range even that important for a class with sneak attacks? I would figure crits are a lot less important for classes with sneak attack.

With reach + outflank + combat reflex

It's very fun and strong to have a high critical chance if you have enough melees with outflank.

you could also use an elven curved blade, there arent many named good ones but the 2 i know off are excellent. you can go str or go full dex take 3 lvls of rogue for dex to dmg/BAB and AC. rogue will hamper your BAB but you will get 2d6 sneak dmg.
optional is 1 lvl of monk for crane wing and wis to ac if you go unarmoured.
