Valerie romance cutscene keeps looping

Anyone else experience this? I can leave the capital and go to the throne room and tavern. But if I enter the square it keeps looping a scene with Valerie. And I don’t wanna send her away. Perhaps a bug with the recent update?

I'm having the same problem. I was stopped by Valerie when I try to enter the town from the throne room. She wants to talk to me privately every time i try to enter the capital city town. Its an endless loop. I even told her that I no longer want her in my party and it still happens.

Anyone had this happen before or is this a new bug because of the recent update?

I have the same issue but with Tristian instead, I was tearing out my hair, going through so many searches on google, thinking the issue was on my end but looks like the update's to blame

I figured it out. I decided to try something different and it worked. I used the charge action and literally killed(to the point the portrait turns grey) and was able to freely walk around the capital square once again. Then just use a scroll of resurrection and bring her or whom ever might be causing trouble for you back to life.

Did you kill her while inside the keep or some random outer area? And when did you use the scroll to bring her back?

Ah I did it while inside the keep. You can still charge friendly targets. And I used a scroll when i stepped into the main square. And she was back and I was able to freely go back and forth.

So I tried doing the same with Tristian, he died and all so I attempted to go back into the main square but he miraculously returned to life and repeats the same dialogue... Thing is when we get to the bedroom he's not even there nor in the main hall of the keep haha :D Even his character portrait is still greyed out. Think I'll just take a break from the game until they've fixed this, I did send in a bug report so I can only hope they fix it soon...

got the exact same issue and the thing about charge killing her worked (had to use breath weapon to really kill her cuz my voy isn't melee built and had to charge like 20 times cuz val is tanky af even without armor) , now i'm trying to ress her cuz i have no idea how to do that
