You still haven't addressed any of the respec bugs that the mod does better than your own terrible implementation, nor have you made any comment about the exclusive full-screen complications.
Sorry Owlcat but i have to agree...
The #1 issue with the game is Exclusive fullscreen that cause all kinds of problems depending on your computer.
And next is probably Tristian quest that can totally destroy a playthrough.
Fixed
Edit: "you dont own this scenario yet" is also a bug report that i see very often.
Do you have a specific list of these exact remaining issues that aren't addressed in the patch notes (there do seem to be quite a few item- and class-related fixes noted above)? Also, have you reported these issues to Owlcat through the in-game feature, or do you plan to do so?
I ask because I've yet to start a playthrough despite being an original KS backer, and am now waiting for the new patch to drop; it would therefore be very useful to know beforehand which exact bugs I might still expect with this final version of the game. Cheers!
- The turn-based mode is a great addition to the game
- It should be possible to deactivate the dice and damage indicators above everyone
- A double move action should be called 'double move' and not 'move'
Turn-based mode is now available.
Awesome! Just played for the first time today (natively on Linux thanks for that too) and was wishing these were available.
- oversized bastard swords count as 1h swords. That means 2h fighter doesn't work for them. and weapon finesse+slashing does. Pretty sure you can make an oversized bastard duelist. Not that there is any practical reason to, but that's still stupid.
- Natural attack damage/AB stacks indefinitely.
- Wisdom cognatogen bugged and only adds negative stats.
- Ovinrbaane doesn't do any checks. Kinda minor, but it's just another thing the game lies to you about.
- Sensei breaks all the time in the worst ways possible and stops giving out the team buffs.
- Songs are still broken. They still allow overlapping songs and when you do it they often glitch out and stop working. Sometimes songs refuse to turn on even on round 1.
- Vestments still stack incorrectly.
- All AoE duration spells like webs, clouds and so on force 2 checks on round 1.
- Some of mind effect/domination SLA's of enemies are not tagged and as such have no counterplay aside from stacking saves into insanity and hoping you don't roll a 1.
- True sight does absolutely nothing to my knowledge.
- Crane wing works with any melee
I could go on, but it's rather pointless. And yes, all of that and more was compiled on different platforms, reported in-game and so on.Good to know. Some of these certainly sound more serious than others, but I hope there's still time for these to be again reported and fixed. From the outset, Owlcat has apparently struggled to keep pace with a large number of bug reports big and small - which to my mind is understandable, given the massive scope and complexity of the game and the fairly small development team.
