So they gave the "traditional monk" all the unchained features....
The d10 hit dice, the full BAB, the revised flurry of blows rules, the style strikes AND the high wisdom saves of the pen-and-paper original monk? It seems like the only difference between the two is that the "traditional monk" has its ki abilities already selected. But other than the boring cure spell instead of barkskin at level 4 it makes most of the same choices folks typically make (diamond soul, poison immunity, quivering palm, abundant step).

I'll happily take +6 will in exchange for no Barkskin!

Yeah, better will saves for losing choice of Ki Powers and only getting 5 instead of 9.
Barkskin is the only useful thing you lose, and if you have a druid or alchemist it's not a big deal.

I also noticed that the "traditional monk" still gets the swift action ki point for extra attack feature. Kind of a weird houseruled version of the monk they implemented here.

Other odd thing: people on reddit and old posts on these boards don't seem to realize you can switch between styles during combat (this is more obvious in turn-based mode with the mod). So you can use pummeling style for pummeling charge and then switch to dragon style at the top of the next round for dragon's ferocity. And a decent chunk of people don't realize you don't have to be a scaled fist to get dragon style (though obviously it makes it easier).

(Edit: I wouldn't both with pummeling style/charge but this game doesn't have the flying kick style strike, which is very sad).
