2)if you rebuke and control a undead can you take that undead with you or is it a stationary target like summon. is there a time limit on the rebuke?

I believe the old turn/destroy/command undead function is from earlier iterations of the p&p rules that was replaced by channeling - a much more useful and less situational ability. There are two feats that affect channeling; Extra Channel and Selective Channeling. The p&p Turn Undead feat is not implemented afaik, nor are there many undead at least in the early stages of the game.

One more question:
- If you use channel positive energy to heal living creatures, do you heal all living creatures that are near your cleric, including enemies and neutral NPC?

Yes, I believe so. Or at least that what I thought I saw in a video with clerics

It should according to the rules. And it should also damage a certain companion...

As far as I know, positive energy should heal all living creatures. Even evil characters are living creatures and thy are healed by positive energy. I think all perty members are living humanoids, no undead, outsiders, constructs or elementals. ( I have not played the game and I am not familiar with the pathfinder setting.)

Actually there is a possible non-living party member that is damaged (like all undead) by healing spells and healed by harm spells. Channeling positive energy won't hurt the companion however. But other than that, you're right :)

There is a Selective Channeling feat that doesn't let your positive energy heal enemies.

So if you channel negative with selective channeling. Will it avoid your team mates(unless they're undead)? And hurt badies?

Pathfinder system p&p ruleset is here and the computer game will closely follow it:

Just a note here; You have to pick Pos/Neg at character creation, and Heal/Harm each time you channel. So, if you're fighting a bunch of zombies, and positive channel in the middle of your party, you have to choose to EITHER heal your living guys, OR, harm the zombies.

@MintBerryCrunch; As atletikus linked above, but I'm going to guess that they changed it in this game to just automatically exclude ALL targets that would help enemies or hurt allies. This is instead of the "number of enemies = Charisma modifier" since I don't see that being practical in a real-time with pause game.

As i remeber in P& P was always all targets in radius unless you have the feat selective channell which is why so many clerics have a 13 Chr so they can get that feat. Charimisa does not effect number of targets in Pathfinder unless things have chnaged.
Grifta Sep 12, 2018 @ 10:33pm
Channel to heal wasn't a thing in 3.5. As the link that atletikus posted for Pathfinder says:
"When you channel energy, you can choose a number of targets in the area up to your Charisma modifier. These targets are not affected by your channeled energy."
Madscientist Sep 13, 2018 @ 1:08am
So with selective channelling you can only exclude a number of targets up to your charisma modyfier. Its OK when you have one undead party member but it may be a problem when you have many enemies. OK, you can chose not to heal the boss and the adds who are almost dead while it is OK to heal enemies that have still full health.
I think the changes from DnD to pathfinder are good. In DnD this ability was useless when there were no undead ( or outsiders or elementals with a feat) around. Now you can use it as a mass heal whenever you want.

Are there feats to increase the damage or healing done by channelling? I know DnD had several feats or domain powers that influenced it.

In Pathfinder there's a bunch of feats

https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/channeling-feats/

But only two in this game for now

As Grifta rightly points out, the cRPG has a somewhat streamlined system to keep a semblance of game flow. Likely it will default to the optimal situation from the character's point of view.

Doesn't seem like there are any more feats directly affecting channeling than the above, but I'm positive there is a magic item that you can get fairly early on that does the trick:
