edit: Nwm. They've appeared. Maybe because I lacked a shop until recently...?
You need to save A LOT if you want to buy those items twice as they restock when they get back to pitax from the tournament.
As I said, It'd cost you around 350k(don't remember the exact price) for the ring at the very minimum(and you will want other stuff). And then you would want to spend it again. Plus there is endgame merchant at the 'house'. with some nice things as well and there is gobling merchant if you finished varnhold DLC... there are lots of things to spend money on. If anything, it takes hard budgeting and optimal play to get everything you would want.
Oh, and there is also the fact you'd likely spend quite a bit on scrolls for endgame.
and kingdom management/bonuses feel ridiculously easy after the patches
I believe most trade deals are designed to pay off after two years. Even then, comparing the net benefit of a few extra BP/week two years later against using the BP now for immediate benefit creates further doubt about the usefulness of trade deals.
And the game has a forced end. So, unless spending 1500 BP on a trade deal gives you some story panel at the end of the game, I would rather use 1500 BP on a lot of other things, like expensive projects.
