It happened to me and my wife - in one month, we pulled four problems that needed the divine advisor. He solved two, ignored one, and for some reason, the fourth one went away, without any penalty. So it was not too bad.
You must keep in mind that most ignored problems are not terrible - some have penalties as trivial as -1 to Culture. On the other hand, I have seen -5 to divinity, and that was pretty bad. But at the end of the day, you can recover from it - by spending some BP on some buildings, or simply because the adviser got the bonuses from the projects he actually solved.
But you have to really guess, sometimes - which problem sounds worse.

I think it is important to prioritize.
I do not know what the best way is. It seems to me that the most important thing is to get a lot of advisors, and rank them up. We mostly adventure when there is a quest that needs to be solved with fire and sword, by the party. In every chapter so far, I had had a period when all areas are explored, all quests seem to be handled, and all I'm doing is building and ranking up.
Seems to work fine.
i haven't started the DLC yet though. one thing i notice was that.. most areas are really small and only have 1 monster to it and that's that. i do have some random ambushes but i handled them well. i'm on normal by the way. i'm considering upping my difficulty to challenging or hard in the next one.
are there not much areas with big map that has much to do? a point to note i'm still level 9 but i believe i have explore quite abit though.
Problem must be prioritize, but Opportunity can be cancel or even ignore if needed. Also, always check the due date.
my characters are lv 8... just figured out how to make another
village ... hope I don't have to start over....
just got a 2 week warning about being attacked by evil from bald hilltop ?
don't know If I suppose to go there again ?
It's basically the main main quest call An ancient curse part x. We have to clear Bald hilltop every chapters when the timer has 14days or less. After that, the next chapter will generally start soon after.
If you just got the ''warning'' you probably got a few more days to pass before that 14days deadline.
Turned my kingdom management from @#$!@#$!!!!!#R! to an enjoyable break from adventuring.
I feel the same. Until Chapter 5 I was able to do every single Problem and Opportunity card available and during Chapter 5, on which many people warn is the hardest part for your Kingdom and a usual point on which it fails I.. saw nothing major. Not gonna spoil anything, but as soon as THAT starts, you can put an end to it in 3ish days in-game time by just exploring THAT side of the map and finding the 3 needed areas. Done. The Problem cards regarding that literally stop. Only way I can see people failing that is if they completely neglected ranking up their advisers or just sat on the kingdom managing tab for months while their kingdom crumbled around them instead of going out to actually solve the problem.
Anyway, to the OP: Ignore the curses thing completely. It serves only one single purpose in the game: To unlock the secret ending. That's it. But to get said ending you have to pass certain skills checks during conversations throughout the game plus taking specific choices. So stumbling into it blindly is extremely, massively rare. So unless you want to have a guide telling you exactly what to do, then just ignore the curses research. After that, just rank up your advisers during the downtime period between Chapters/Major events. That's pretty much it. Claim regions when needed then build a town if only to build a teleportation circle, it will save you tons of time in traveling.
