Should I play “Varnhold's Lot” before I start the main campaign?
Hello! So far, I have waited to start playing the game, because I want it to be fixed aka less bugs.

Since now the first big DLC got release, I’d like to know if I should play the DLC “Varnhold's Lot” before I start the main campaign?

I have not started the main campaign so far.

Thank you!

I'd play the main campaign first, at least until your main character gets his barony officially. Thats the point in the timeline where the DLC's story begins.

That will let you import your main game into the dlc, and then you'll be able to import that DLC's save back into the main game at a later point when the stories converge again.

You don't need to rush into the DLC at that point in the story, if you don't want. You can play through the rest of that chapter of the main game if you feel like it. But you'll probably want to do the DLC before the main story sends you to Varnhold.

Thank you Cutlass Jack!

Okay, I'll get in the main campagign my barony, resolve the DLC and return to the main game.

Is the DLC solvable right now without game breaking bugs?

I finished the main campaign. Should I import my character for this DLC?
I think the "import" action is just so it makes a guest appearance, you still have to make a new character for the Mercenary group to play with.

Play until you finish the bloom. Then DLC, then back to main game imo.

Yeah, that's it. Confirmed. The main character is not the same of the main story. Thanks!
