unlikely, considering lvl20 is impossible to reach with a party of 6 without abuse.

Level cap in Pathfinder is 20 if that's what you're asking.

That's putting it a little strongly, at least after the changes to late-game experience. I finished at level 19 without grinding or going out of my way to chase experience. There's a significant experience gap between level 19 and 20, but it doesn't seem that far out of reach.

That said, no, Owlcat isn't going to extend the game past level 20. They would need to invent new rules from scratch, which they're neither licensed nor inclined to do.

Well i was thinking that most people can only get to level 17 without cheats so if the dlc is a epic dungeon it will not take long to get to there max level

You are right and wrong at the same time if owlcat adds in mythic paths in this dlc we get 10 more levels

you can reach 20 if you abuse persuasion and turn off exp sharing for skill-checks. Cha-based classes for MC are top tier for that reason alone.

I am wholly right. The level cap is 20. Mythic is a separate leveling system that works in parallel standard levels.

I think that the 3rd DLC is a random generated dungeon. The player will probably see different maps, encounter different monsters and get different loot with every playthrough.

no it'll just make getting to 20 easier more than likely, unless they greatly limit exp gain there or its a separate "campaign" like varnhold's lot
Grifta Apr 4, 2019 @ 5:45pm
The DLC description says that you can either play it separate or as part of the campaign

sorry but they are never gonna raise level caps, theres a limit to their bending of pathfinder rules to adapt it into a videogame

plus there is no reason for it, level 20s are ridiculous

Level 20 is border for mortals, after this character could be consider minor God, which doesnt fit narrative. To be fair being lv 20 is already too much for what you do in game.

PnP module ends at 17 if I'm not mistaken, but it understandably leaves a lot of people upset they can't get their shiny toys.

There is literally nothing past 20. If you want level 21 to happen, you're going to have to ask a modder.

On top of that, all Pathfinder APs are designed for a party to cap out at level 17 as mentioned, and the difference between a level 19 and 20 is nearly an order of magnitude difference with some of the level 20 capstone abilities.
