Familiar needs to be improved
One of the things i don't like about kingmaker is the familiar there are supposed to help you in combat like casting spells but in kingmaker you only get little bonus to help you out i would like to have the improved familiar feat but if owlcat does not make the familiar better in combat there really is not much put in having the improved familiar feat in kingmaker here is a video of what a familiar can do in pathfinder

If I remember right, in BG2 you just summoned your familiar, got its stat boosts and then threw it in your bag for the rest of the playthrough. Maybe they were going with that style?

Yes, you could put them in your pack but they could also join you in combat.

Cant remember if it was Pathfinder or D&D but something let you cast touch spells from your familiar if i recall.... a simple way to implement this is just increase the range of all your touch spells

A pity we don't have the witch class if you cross class with the witch and alchemist in pathfinder pen and paper you can throw your familiar at the enemy or at your companion XD
