When do you get access to Pitax?

I currently have one of those bugged "a mysterious letter has arrived" events that doesn't trigger when you go to the throne room.

I've been told that access to Pitax is triggered by receiving a letter in the throne room and I'm concerned that the bugged event that I have (arrived at the same time as one about Linxia and Brineheart) is the letter I need to go to Pitax.

I'm currently on An Ancient Curse Part V and I have about ~90 days remaining on it. Am I supposed to have access to Pitax by now or does that come after An Ancient Curse Part V?

Aren't the curses related to the chapters I thought, i think that Pitax should be chapter 5 right?

That's what I thought. I've already finished chapter 4 (done with Armag's Tomb and whatnot) and only have a few months left until An Ancient Curse Part V fails. Hence, I'm very concerned about the fact that I still cannot access Pitax for the Rushlight Tournament.

Yeah I just got the same quest recently as well I think i still have about 120 days or so till Curse 4 activates, they really need to fix up the Ui more and tell you more what to do about each quest tbh but i'm still loving the game anyway to worry that much

Oh! I've literally been looking all through the Steam forums... didn't even think of looking through Reddit. Thanks! I guess I can safely just continue through Part V then. God, that duplicated "mysterious letter" event was really making me concerned.

Tbh i'd make a backup save or 2 just incase it doesn't pop up that's what I did with Chapter 3 and since then I've been making backups whenever I can even if they're like 10 hours ago
