why do you thin it doesn't ?
!! the cha bonus is the same than the headband (if you have one headband you will not see the ring bonus)
For some reason the ring took some time to effect my stat, if i remember well. You may have to keep it on for while and save reload or something like that.. maybe spilling some blood?
Now every bonus/malus work.
It only improves crit confirmation rolls, not crit rolls themselves. Mercs have five less stat points than regular characters.
I understand. I'm saying your build idea is unlikely to do what you're hoping. The ring doesn't affect crit chance, only crit confirmation chance.
When you're out of the capital the ring's CHA bonus works correctly, and appears correctly on your character's stat page. However, the stat value is still displayed wrong on the SPELLBOOK tab. For example, my sorcerer with the ring equipped shows CHA 26 on the character stat page but only CHA 22 on the spellbook page. In capital, CHA 22 is displayed on both pages.
The biggest drawback of this bug is that, if your CHA caster with the ring equipped rests in the capital s/he won't memorize the extra spells those +4 CHA should give him/her.
Oy Vey, that is so damn specific it reads like they intended it to work that way.
we hope
