Help with Fire themed Party
I am working on a party of 3-4 adventurers, all custom made with a strong fire theme.

I want 1-2 ranged fireball or explosive throwing characters and 1-2 fire resistant melee characters and tanks.

So far my ideas are:
Sorcerer with Red Dragon Bloodline
- Red Dragon Bloodline Gives a bit of fire resistance and +1 damage per die on fire spells
- Evocation focus, fire focus, greater evocation focus, greater fire focus

Cleric Tank with Fire Domain
- Gives Fire Resistance
- Main tank and primary healer

Someone to pick locks and disarm traps and be fire resistant?

A fourth character that fits the theme?

A paladin with the fire domain?

Anyone else with ranged AOE fire?
Is there another good options for this?

Eldritch Psion with Fire Elemental bloodline?
- Maybe this guy gets 3 rogue levels for pick locks and finesse damage based on dex.

Do any races or classes get fire resistance other than by having the fire domain or having a bloodline?

I was planning on playing through the game with only 3-4 character and adjusting the difficulty so that it works out based on that idea.

Thanks!

Flamewalker bard gives 10/20/30 fire resist as a performance for as many rounds as you can use performance. I'm playing with a flamewalker in my new playthrough. The fire resist is on demand with the performance, and where you could get it from a spell, the bard one can be toggled on and off as needed and can't be dispelled I suppose. Also in their spell tree they get 3 fire damage spells that bards don't normally get.

Not that it's a good idea but you could use the fire ranger and use splash fire damage to kill him such that he blows up for further aoe, probably not worth it. I don't recall what fire damage he does otherwise.

Aasimar I believe get innate 5 fire resist, they get 5 of 3 different elemental types, maybe cold/fire/lightning.

Obviously an alchemist/grenadier alchemist will have nice aoe fire bombs.

I think scaled first monk can get a dragon breath for fire damage and can get scorching ray for further multi-target fire damage.

Sorceror can get scorching ray, and if you spec for arcane trickster I believe the scorching ray hits will also all get sneak attack damage as well. So arcane trickster of wizard/sorceror can get ranged legerdemain for ranged lockpicking/item grabbing/trap opening.

I think there is a fire option within the new kineticist but they seem overly complex so I havent really played with them yet.

Have you already used a cleric as main tank/main heals already? I'm curious to know how that works.
The ranger flame warden is another one to consider.

The eldritch arcana mod adds Oracle, I think there's a fire mystery in there

You can do a fire-themed Eldritch archer if you want. Not a strong fire theme fro mclass abilities but you focus your spells on being fire based.

Interestingly druids get some nice fire spells (they get flame strike at a lower level than any other class for example), they can wild shape into beings of pure fire, can swap out spells on the fly to summon fire elementals at later levels (nothing like an elemental swarm of fire elemental), and they get the fire domain as an option. EDIT: Also it seems they are the only ones to get elemental swarm as a non-domain spell. Thus you can spam it and have an insane mob of fire elementals at your command!

Aasimar don't get resist fire, but tieflings do. However lorewise the emberkin aasimar have a close tie to fire, so that could work too.
