Open RegEdit (Win+R -> regedit -> OK) and find path "\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TypedPaths" and then find something with "Owlcat" or "Kingmaker"
...and show us a screenshot or just write
Feel kind of lame I forgot about the hidden folders thing. I have a tendency to set it by rote when first setting up Windows and then forget I did it. X3
i am viewing hidden items, and it still isn't there with that folder not even being modified for months
only folder modified recently is windows
typed path only has "Default" there :/
So it may be easier for you to find it that way.
First start a "new game" and when you are at the screen where you have to choose your portrait, there is a small button below any portrait you choose : click on it and it will open the folder where portraits are
//
Second option :
in windows, in the small seach bar next to the windows button (usually, it means lower left of your screen), enter %APPDATA%, then click "enter"
It should put you into the "\AppData\Roaming" folder.
Now Go to the '"APPDATA" folder (it means you have to go up once in the file tree : so for example : click once on any folder of "\AppData\Roaming" then click the "backspace" key to go up once)
Now you are in APPDATA, you should find the "LocalLow" folder and open it, then "Owlcat" and open it, then "portrait"
Here is the path on mine:
C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Kingmaker\Portraits
I did not give myself a user name when I set up my computer as I would be the only one using it. But if you did so, you may have to replace "user" with whatever you selected as your user name.
As Zzyl mentioned there is a small button underneath the portraits that opens the folder directly. From there you should be able to trace its location.
