Permanent regeneration possible?
Is there any item or feat that grants a permanent, unlimited regeneration similar to that of a troll or trollhound?

Permanent? None that i can think of.

Temporary? Yes, like druid/ranger spell Blessing of the Salamander or Inquisitor Judgement:healing

I know of the temporary or the limited one alchemist can get - I'm looking for something like ring of regeneration from baldur's gate 2

There are a few late game items, but I'm not aware of any feats/class abilities in game (maybe a level 20 Sorcerer Bloodline?). Just a heads up to help on your search, there is also a term called Fast Healing. Both give you healing per round, but Fast Healing doesn't regrow limbs or other catastrophic damage.

For the purposes of this game, Fast Healing = Regeneration.

How late game are those items?
So trolls have regeneration rather than fast healing since they *can* regrow limbs, as certain gentleman has scientifically proven?

Damn, I thought that Gear's Rule did regen, but it's an activation for 5 rounds. Sorry.

I'll see if I can load up my endgame file, fireball the party, and see if anyone is regen-ing :P

Kameberry pie[pathfinderkingmaker.gamepedia.com] provides Fast healing 1 - i.e. 1 HP/round - to the whole party for a full day. Not a lot during battle, but nice to recover between fights.

alchemist grand discovery seems to be giving the fast healing 5, but it comes only at level 20 :(

Yea, the Ring of Regeneration (1 hp / round) is 90,000gp in the pen and paper for a reason :P

There is a ring and some high-end feats that allow it.

Where can I get the ring earliest?

Would be good enough, though in PnP it's cheaper to just buy wands of healing, also ring of regeneration only heals the damage sustained while wearing it making it a bit limiting

@Juhaszmaster, can you list them? I've played through the game twice, and don't remember any regen equipment, or feat that does regen.

@Nevasith; I mean, just never remove the ring then. :Valeros:

Will glue it to my finger if needed - but still need the ring

Ring of regeneration as already mentioned
Great discovery for alchemist
Bloodline feat - may be from mod?
I think there was racial ability as well.

Ca you be more specific:

- where to get the ring

As for the wiki there is only one item in the game that grands fast healing (Gear's Rule, but also only for a number or rounds per day, fast healing is the little brother of regeneration)
But I think any alchemist can finish his Grand Discoveries (lvl 20) and can get the fast healing skill, but I have no idea of playing alchemist just read it, also no idea if they get it for ever or only for a number of rounds. (There were two fast heals for the alchemist one very low level I think this one is limited to a number of rounds and the lvl 20 discovery - this should be a passive feat, so always?) But howevery you have to be an alchemist of lvl 20 ....
