Kargadd and sunlight

Ok , I'm trying to do a new run and get more achievement this time and I wanted the "know their weaknesses" but I can't do it.

I lure Kargadd under the light ( now it's a grate and not anymore a big circle of light) but nothing happens even for long time. I checked the dialogue but not saves made by him or whatever.
I searched on internet but they say just to lure him there.

Any tips?

What happen if you attack him a few times while he is under the light? He should become a stone after a few seconds.

The light is the one a room before Kargadd room. Kinda like a grilled square 'shadow' on the floor.

Yea, that's where I go but it doesn't happen anything. I tried to let him stay long time, i used grease to make sure , I tried prayer and the aura of the school of enchantment to lower his saves, tried also to attack a few times under the light, got him near half of his health.
Do I need to hit him more?

Done, but I simply killed him. also the text it's normal. Tried to just let him alive with few hp but nothing

Yep, and he said all his things about his quest, before and after I kill Kargadd. I imagine there isn't a problem with this because I let his child alive, right?

No i also always let the children live with a good/neutral mc.

Do you have any acid/fire weapons or Octavia acid splash on? Turn those off so that the light itself kill him and not fire or acid.

Nope, tried but he still dies normally. And rock troll were supposed to be so immortal :/

Mmmmm, well first of all in my case he never trow rocks, that's strange. And when it enters in the sunlight don't make any flashy effect as in the video buuuut, i missed somethig. In this video it seems he doesn't die petrified, but normally

For me, he turned to stone not long after this picture:

I think it did take him a round or two to stiffen up.

Then it's clearly a bug but I don't know why or how to change it. I tried a different save but nothing

Well, that's strange guys. I just made again the fight against the troll before him and... magic! It works now! I love this game but really, he has some strange bugs.
