Monks and Trip / Greater Trip ?
If you take Trip as a Monk bonus feat, do you need Combat Expertise?

And if the answer is no, which I think it is, does having Trip without Combat Expertise qualify you to take Greater Trip, because that doesn't look like it can be taken as a Monk bonus feat.

Trip requires combat expertise and an intelligence of 13. Taking trip as a monk bonus feat lets you bypass those requirements for that feat only, but doesn't exempt you from other feats' INT/expertise requirements.

Greater trip requires trip, combat expertise, a base attack bonus of 6, and an intelligence of 13. Unfortunately there is currently no monk archetype that lets you bypass those requirements by taking greater trip as a monk bonus feat. That means if you were wanting greater trip to be a part of your build, you'd have to take combat expertise first.

Monks get a trip ability at some point, it is a green icon with a foot on it (not the usual combat maneuver).

Leg Sweep?

Looks different than the feat, which I think would add +2 to the CMB for Leg Sweep attempts.

The advantage of Leg Sweep is they would happen as a free action.

I was thinking that you get it without spending feats, so you can leave them be with a monk.
