Heavy flail bug

Having played months ago, there was a visual glitch where the head of flails were not displayed.
I started another playthrough recently, and while the regular flail looks fine, the heavy flail still has this bug! Have I installed something incorrectly? I'm using a few mods, maybe it's that?

What's bug? I'm use a bunch of mods and my heavy flails are fine?

Have you verified steam game files? Make sure to click update in the UMM after wards.

Hey.

The bug is that I only see the handle of the heavy flail, not the chain and the ball at its end.

I did verified Steam files and it found no problem, and my "Update" button in the UMM is greyed out.

Probably greyed out because the verify didn't reinstall the kingmaker.exe that the UMM changes.

When searching'heavy flail' in this forum and bug forum, looks like it's a known bug from ages back.

My character have heavy flail equipped (The End) and is attacking with hands and kicks despite holding the weapon (yeah... I am sure that it is in use). Maybe polymorph into a dog bugged me 🤷‍♂️

It's not just flails, I have noticed my characters' weapons turning invisible periodically, especially with Amiri and 2-handers. Hasn't had any effect on gameplay so far, so I hope it's just a visual bug.

This is an ancient bug that will never be fixed unfortunately, game is no longer being updated. Maybe with some mod that's out there. Not the first time I've seen a thread on this, when I saw Heavy Flails I knew exactly what it was about.
I get all kinds of these visual bugs in the inventory screen. They're aplenty in the sequel too. One where the animal companion is invisible at times.
Everyone might not get the same bug as you may know due to the nature of bugs and hardware and software and yada yada
