Hellknights quest : help needed

Hey guys.
I just come to the point here Lixia and her Hellknight buddies come to me to have the authorization to pursue some criminal.

I play as a lawful evil, asmodeus worshipper, so RP-side, I must see these guys as my allies and i don't care one second about their methods. However, the game is doing evrything in its power to force me to care with nice -5 loyalty events.

So, my question is : is there a way to side with the hellknights without wrecking my kingdom, or is this a false choice "side with Robin Hood or die"?

If siding with the hellknights a viable path, I would gladly take some advice? Is saying to them to chill on the marketplace something I can do? How long will I suffer these events? (I can endure them, but not too long if possible).

Easy the simple answer is... it doesnt matter

You just stumbled into worst written quest in the game, side with them or against leads to the same end choice
So make your choice, go outside the throne room and have a cutscene with Lixia, move on and pray that the end of that garbage fire of a quest comes swiftly.

When i reached the end of that quest i just killed everything involved with it...

Yeah, finished my LE run and this choice almost destroyed my kingdom. Next playthrough I'm killing every guy or girl I see in pointy black armour, starting with you half-elf.

Yeah but ...when will it end?

I mean, on the marketplace i told the different groups of hellknights that i won't interfere in their jobs....so they stay. And the bad events are still happening month after month after month. I have no clue about what to do. Indeed this quest is horrbly written.

I mean, should have ignored my lawful evil alignement on the marketplace and told the knights to back down?

sadly correct path for all alignments is to kick linxia away from your lands.
try checking hunting lodge.

Have you been approached by a smug bastard? That PC from someone's tabletop campaign shows up at the south of the town square and approaches you, then you go to the hunting lodge. After that you wait about a month and get a letter to go to a location named "Brineheart"

Wulp, I just went through this quest. Linxia was all like - do you respect law, and yes, yes I do, so go ahead. But she is torturing and stuff, so I say, lady, be cool. She is like - dude, you no respect law.

This is where the game needed an option for me to say "I respect your law as much as you seem to respect mine - so GTFO" but alas the quest railroads you a bit.

Anyway, very soon after, whathis face pops up and says hey, kill her for me. Or talk her down, but I doubt it. Again the quest railroads you - you cant really do anything but agree.

So then I go to Linxia and I am like, so, about all this, and she is like F U you no respect the law, you die. So I counter-murder all her dudes as I am the King baby, but of course, railroad she escapes.

So yeah. Hellknights be cool and all, but this lady, I'll send her to hell if she ever tries anything in my lands.
