Torpor the great nightmare

I encountered this big guy and the fight was on. Shortly thereafter I noticed above the horse miss being repeated. he took no damage.

is there a certain type of weapon that affects him? or a specific element of damage?

He might have just been too high level/high ac i dont remember needing anything in particular to kill it when i encountered it.

Check the combat log for your rolls/ its AC.
