Brilliant Energy alignment + Eldritch Scion
What alignment is required to use Brilliant Energy? I'm picking up Ghost Blade at 9 but I'm unable to activate it for some reason.
Any other Magus abilities with a restriction like that I should also know about?

Brilliant Energy requires level 18 if im not mistaken, like the full description mentions...

The only alignment restricted ability is the Devoted Blade, who requires Good for Holy, Evil for Unholy, Lawful for Axiomatic, and Chaotic for anarchic. True Neutral gets NOTHING

Ghost Blade doesn't mention a level in its description other than the level you get it, which is level 9. Brilliant Energy doesn't say any level requirement either, and it doesn't look grayed out or anything, and I can activate Ghost Touch.

What weapon are you currently trying to use it on and are you trying to use it with other weapon abilities?

Bound Thunder, a trident. +1 with 1d6 shock damage. And the ability just doesn't activate. Like if I click Keen, it has a glowing outline that it is activated, like autocast, but I don't even get that when trying to use BE.

At any rate, not a big deal anymore, just decided to get hastened assault for now instead.

The only thing I can guess is that it's because of the way enchanting your weapon works. It would require you to be 13th level since Brilliant Energy is a +4 enchantment.

This. The description of Brilliant states that it consumes 4 enhancement points. At lvl 9 Magus can give only +3 points.
