Question: Fighter Feat (Weapon Training: Dart)
Hey guys, can u tell me if there's is actually a weapon training proficiency that specialises on weapons like darts? I have seen specializations for javelins or throwing axes but not darts.

There is no weapon training dart.

Why would you even specialize in darts ? Are you trying to win tournaments in your local pub ?

To be the fastest dart thrower that has ever walked the Stolen land!

Perhaps he wants to roll-play the antagonist of the movie "Dare Devil"... ^^

Why wouldn't u specialize in darts? This is the better question. Never heard of the all mighty dart thrower? Sir-Throw-A-Lot? Unrelated to Sir-Throw-Up-A-Lot, totally unrelated.
But thanks for the clarification. :P

Just do javelins instead, darts are not light weapons in this game anyways.

As far as I'm aware, the following weapons do not have a weapon group in game:
Unarmed, Slingstaff, Throwing Axe, Sai, Kama, Dart, (possibly Nunchuku)
Weapon groups list unarmed and throwing axe, but don't actually give them bonuses...

There is the Throw Anything feat that may count towards Darts.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I found a +2 Corrosive Dart in the Tenebreous Depths at like level 6 (chapter 2, when it first opens). Very helpful for the main quest at that point. I don't know if there are any darts worth using in the endgame.

There are no pre-set thrown weapons aside from 1 throwing axe (which is the only throwing axe in the game (as far as I'm aware).)
So pretty much no on the end-game darts.
Maybe you can find random no ability +5, but no silly ones with 10+ points worth of abilities...

You have incorrect information:
Throwing Axe does *NOT* get weapon group bonuses from anything (despite being listed in axes)
Unarmed Strike does *NOT* get weapon group bonuses from anything (despite being listed in both close and natural)

Roll a level 20 fighter and check in game...
(check the actual bonus you get in combat/character sheet, not the description)

This sounds to me like a bug.

Probably, this game still has a bunch of minor rules issues like that though.

You will actually get these bonuses from these weapon groups. They are just not shown in the sheets because of a bug but they will be applied in actual combat as far as I could gather from different threads.

Just tested again, Close does give unarmed bonuses, Natural Weapons does not.

The to hit bonus for Close (on unarmed strikes) does not show up on the character sheet, the damage bonus did, got both in combat.
Natural Weapons gives no bonus at all to unarmed on the character sheet or in combat...
(I had improved unarmed strikes if that matters.)
